Doing an event at the Fashion Institute of Technology is always a blast – the students love Maui Wowi smoothies, but more than that, they are an interesting, enthusiastic and above all, well dressed crowd. This is Welcome Week at FIT and last night featured a Bingo game with a luau theme. We set up our smoothie station in the outdoor breezeway. There was no breeze to be had on a humid New York summer night, but we blended away for two hours and made 500 or so pina colada, mango orange banana and black raspberry banana smoothies. Looking forward to our next event with FIT.
