We’re frequently asked about the best way to incorporate Maui Wowi smoothies into a bar or bat mitzvah. Is our service offered throughout the party, during the cocktail hour only, or at the end when guests are leaving? The answer is: Yes. Let us explain the options:

• Have Maui Wowi smoothies throughout your bar/bat mitzvah party: Most party-givers choose this option to have our smoothie bar open from the cocktail hour right up through dessert. Kids are active during the party dancing and playing games, and our smoothies are a great way to take a break and cool off. 

• During the cocktail hour: This is a nice option, especially if you’d like us to serve smoothies with rum or or vodka for adults. A pina colada, strawberry daiquiri or margarita are  easy for us to make. We never put alcohol in our blenders — only in the cups we serve, so there’s no chance of our serving alcohol to your child or their young guests.

• On the way out: By the end of the party, your guests have had a lot of sugary desserts. We often see yet more sugar piled on at the end of parties…and we wonder why. A healthy smoothie bar is a much more nutritious option. Most of our smoothies are non-fat, and all of them are all-natural with no artificial ingredients. They contain lots of vitamin C and we include a fresh banana in every smoothie. Isn’t that better than a bag filled with tooth-crushing candy?

• Switch to espresso for dessert: Another way to use Maui Wowi for your bar or bat mitzvah is to have us set up a smoothie bar for the cocktail hour through dinner, and then switch to an espresso bar for the dessert hour. We’re surprised at how many kids these days like a latte with whipped cream (thank you, Starbucks!). And it’s great for adults as well.
